Luis Delvalle-Rodriguez, one of the men charged in connection with the August shooting of Nick Carnevale, may have inadvertently recorded himself admitting to pulling the trigger.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that the revelation came during a dangerousness hearing in Berkshire Superior Court yesterday for Kevin Nieves, one of Delvalle-Rodriguez’s two co-defendants in the case.

According to Assistant Berkshire District Attorney Joseph Yorlano, Delvalle-Rodriguez was allegedly carrying a cell phone, which was recording, and Delvalle-Rodriguez admitted he, and not Nieves, was the one who shot Carnevale.

Delvalle-Rodriguez age 23, Nieves19, and Douglas 24 have all been indicted by a grand jury and each were arraigned separately earlier this month in Berkshire Superior Court.

All three men have pleaded not guilty to their charges, which include armed assault with intent to murder and armed kidnapping.
