I think all of us have some New Years tradition that we like to do like spending it with your significant other, going to your favorite restaurant, or favorite club or maybe you are just crazy enough to head to NYC for the big ball drop with a bunch of your friends where they will pack you in like sardines to watch it there.  I alway wondered how people go to the bathroom while they are enclosed in the area of Time Square.  People who go to Time Square for the Ball drop usually get there super early too.

There a lot of events going on all over the Berkshires here s a couple for you

The Mohawk in North Adams, which if you have never been to check it out the staff there are awesome  they will be ringing in the new year with DJ Murtz, playing Top 40 and more, starting at 9 p.m.

Bright Ideas Brewing, 111 MASS MoCA Way, will be hosting a "Low-Key NYE," starting at 7 p.m. The taps will be open and food will be available. They'll be screening films of cult classics fame, including, "So I Married an Axe Murderer" and "Monty Python and The Holy Grail," as well as spinning some classics on vinyl. Come and be comfy, no cover.

This year for me may is going to be a lot calmer and not as loud. I see myself with Scott (hubby) and catch up on some movies we haven't seen yet and toast in the New Year.

Couple of reminders for you. Don't drink and drive use a designated driver of take a cab, extra police will be out.  Tip your Bartenders and wait staff, they will be working extra hard New Years Eve.

Have a safe and fun New Year and get ready for 2018!
