One Man Dead After Early Morning Pittsfield Shooting (Video)

One man was killed early yesterday morning in a shooting on Edward Avenue in Pittsfield, according to the Pittsfield Police Department. The victim’s name was not released, pending notification of his family.

According to a media release from the Pittsfield Police Department, authorities received a report of a possible gunshot victim outside a location on Edward Avenue at around 2:13 am.

Upon their arrival, police found a man who appeared to have suffered at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no further details available.
