Peace Train Tees Announces Move to Downtown Pittsfield

"Where's that whistle?" It will be heading to a new spot very soon.

Peace Train Tees announced on Friday afternoon that they will be moving to a new location in Downtown Pittsfield. The locally owned embroidery company opened its doors in 2010 and has been located inside the Berkshire Mall, which it will continue to do until the transition is complete at 2 South St.

"We searched long and hard for a beautiful location with ample parking and we fell in love with this spot," Peace Train Tees said in the announcement. "It is smaller than our current home but we WILL be able to carry all our current stock, so FEAR NOT our plain items customers!"

The announcement comes with a very quick turnaround, as they look to get moving at the new location just in time for an annual Downtown Pittsfield tradition.

"We are planning on a grand opening celebration on Third Thursday, May 17th," they continued. "We are hoping to not be closed at all during the transition, closing our store at the Berkshire Mall on May 16th and opening our new location on May 17th."

Peace Train Tees customers will be able to park in the Berkshire Plaza Hotel, formerly the Crowne Plaza, parking garage for free.
