Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and Motown legend Stevie Wonder will help open the new MGM Casino in Springfield on September 1.

Wonder comes to Springfield following concert dates at MGM properties in Las Vegas, Maryland and Atlantic City. Stevie Wonder is the first entertainer to be announced in conjunction with the MGM Springfield opening.  Talia Spera, executive director of arena operations for the MGM Springfield commented:

“Wonder's concert will usher in a new era of exciting world-class entertainment for the city”
