A third man believed to be associated with the August shooting of a teenager in October Mountain State Forest has been charged in the case. The Berkshire Eagle reports that Daquan Douglas is being held without bail, pending a dangerousness hearing set for next week in Westfield.

The 24-year-old Douglas, 23-year-old Louis Delvalle-Rodriguez, and 19-year-old Kevin Nieves, all of Pittsfield, are accused in the alleged kidnapping, assault, and shooting of a 19-year-old man on August 21st near the Ashley Reservoir in Washington.

Nieves is facing single counts of armed assault with intent to murder; illegal possession of a firearm; kidnapping; and assault and battery. Delvalle-Rodriguez is facing single counts of armed assault with intent to murder; kidnapping; and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.

The victim, who has not been identified, except that he is a 19-year-old from Cheshire, who was shot three times and was critically injured and has been hospitalized since the shooting

Few details about the incident are known as police reports in the cases remain impounded until at least September 25th.
