TMZ is reporting that Bruce Springsteen was busted for DWI last year on November 14th at the Gateway National Recreational Area in Sandy Hook New Jersey.  According TMZ the Boss was cited for DWI, reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area.  A court date is expected in the next couple of weeks.

According to the report Bruce was cooperative throughout the arrest.  There is no record of any previous arrest for driving while under the influence.

Ironically the 71-year -old rocker was just featured in a 2-minute commercial for Jeep that ran in the Super Bowl on Sunday.  This was the first time Bruce allowed his celebrity in a commercial.

Springsteen released his latest studio album “Letter to You” last October.  “Letter to You” is Bruce’s 20th studio album and was recorded with his legendary E Street Band.  The album features nine new songs and three previously unreleased songs from the 1970s.  According to Springsteen's website, it was recorded in his home studio in New Jersey and only took five days to complete.  According to the site, Bruce said "it turned out to be one of the greatest recording experiences I've ever had."

Outside of the Jeep spot seen by millions during the Super Bowl, Springsteen was the lead performer on the “Celebrating America” concert special to celebrate the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.  The Boss performed “Land of Hopes and Dreams.”
