We have many wonderful festivities throughout all the city's and towns in the Berkshires. One that really stood out this year was the town of Stockbridge. Made famous by Norman Rockwell’s painting of the village during the holidays, has now made it's presence made on the National Platform. My husband Scott, by the way is so into watching as much news as possible, and myself, were watching NBC News with Lester Holt last night 12/5 when Scott goes "it's Stockbridge" which I then looked up from playing Angry Birds 2, and there it was Beautiful Stockbridge!  Looks like the news crew was in this past weekend for the Stockbridge Main Street Christmas.

The town for many reasons has always shined bright. It becomes a magical New England Town decorated with holiday wreaths and festive lights, as the town celebrates Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas is the first week in December put on by the Stockbridge Chamber of Commerce. It's Called Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas, if you didn't go this year plan on going next year it is an event not to be missed. Bringing back memories to you will classic cars of the past, the stores and decorations take you back to another time.

The festivities celebrate Rockwell’s popular depiction of what for many is the quintessential small New England Town, with all the longing for a simpler time that it represents. Rockwell began painting the popular image in 1956, but did not complete it until December 1967.
