Experts are warning that the worst is yet to come.  The latest models are predicting that Massachusetts could see up to 172,000 coronavirus cases when the surge hits the state between April 10th and the 20th.

As of yesterday, there were just over 12,500 Mass residents that tested positive.  In the Berkshires there have been 258 reported positive cases and 13 deaths attributed to the virus.

Governor Baker announced that there has been significant progress in testing for Covid-19 with some 3,500 tests being conducted daily.

Baker also added yesterday that 100 ventilators have arrived in Massachusetts from the national stockpile and expected additional ventilators will be sent by the feds on an incremental basis.

Over 1,100 Mass residents have been hospitalized since the start of the outbreak.
