Some light snow tonight should add a festive backdrop to tonight’s tree lighting ceremony in North Adams.

The event was postponed last week due to the major storm that hit the Berkshires and was rescheduled to tonight.

The event is free to the public and will take place starting at 6pm at Monument Square.

Enjoy hot cocoa from the 1st Baptist Church, music from the Drury Band, and of course the arrival of Santa and the lighting of the North Adams Christmas Tree.

Santa will not come empty handed.  He will have 500 goody bags to hand out to kids.
