Massachusetts has lots of fantastic spots to stop in and enjoy a cold one. As we get later in the Spring and look to the upcoming Summer months, it's just a matter of time before we hit some warmer weather when a great spot to enjoy a drink may be out on the patio, out in a courtyard, a balcony or a terrace, or perhaps even up on a rooftop. In fact, there is one particular Massachusetts spot that was selected as one of the top 10 best beer gardens throughout the entire U.S.

As the temperatures slowly but surely warm up this Spring in Massachusetts, we now know what some of the top towns were for traveling to the coast in the Bay State. In fact, did you realize that the Bay State is home to two of the top five coastal towns in the country? So, where exactly are they?

There is such a wealth of history in the state of Massachusetts, we know that there are several establishments in the Bay State that date back at least a few centuries. Of those restaurants, which ones still hold up to this day? And which ones are considered to be the best of the best? We may have just found out where the best historic restaurant in the state is, and it's in western Massachusetts.

Massachusetts certainly has some of the richest history of any state in the U.S. There's lots of things in the Bay State that even pre-date America's birthday on July 4th, 1776. Of course, some big parts of America's history also took place within the confines of some of the most historic forts in the U.S. Some of those have been made into national, state, and local parks. Others serve as historic monuments and landmarks throughout the country, which often make for great tourist attractions as well. It seems that two of these historic forts that are just as old as America are here in Massachusetts.

If someone were to ask you what the signature sandwich is from your home state, regardless of if that's Massachusetts or not, what would you say? Like, if there was one sandwich that is distinctly your state's sandwich, what would it be? Massachusetts has a sandwich that is known as its 'must-try local sandwich' and it's pretty distinctly different from every other sandwich that exists in any other state.

No city or town in Massachusetts ever wants the notoriety of having this particular distinction. Nor is there any city or town anywhere else in the world, really, that wants to be known as this. However, unfortunately, it had to go to some spot here in the Bay State.

Throughout Massachusetts, we have plenty of cities, towns, and villages with some bizarre names. Some have histories that consists of hauntings, or even some relatively frightening backstories. Or, they could just have a creepy look to them with an even creepier name. This would fit both of those. Of course, it's not a city, it's not a town, but it is a village...sort of.

While Massachusetts is well known for its rich history and culture, the bigger cities throughout the Bay State certainly get plenty of attention when someone talks about the state. Cities such as Boston, Salem, Springfield, and more get plenty of love, but what about the smaller towns throughout the state that have some of the most beauty you will find anywhere throughout the Bay State. It just so happens that there is one town on the western side of the state was very much worthy of being known as one of the prettiest in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts is a fantastic destination to travel to for so many at any time of the year. Certainly the Spring and Summer months are a prime time just for that. The trouble with traveling is that it can be easily quickly dig deep into whatever travel budget you may be working with. But what if you could visit somewhere for free? Most people would be down for that. It just so happens that Massachusetts is home to one of the top free attractions throughout the U.S.

Massachusetts is home to lots of great bakeries and donut joints that have some spectacular donuts. When it comes to spots that are exclusive only to Massachusetts, we even had a bakery recently listed as one of the must-try bakeries in the U.S. The Bay State is also home to one of the most popular donut chains in the country with Dunkin'. But what donut spot is being called the best donut shop in the state of Massachusetts? (Spoiler alert: It's not Dunkin'.)
