Berkshire towns

Massachusetts is known for having plenty of great attractions throughout the state. This typically comes in large part due to its place in American history, along with its place within the surrounding New England region's culture. But recently, one attraction in Massachusetts was named among the best things to do in the U.S. this Summer. And it's not just any particular attraction, it's an entire town in the Berkshires.

We're not exactly in the holiday season for this. However, this is about the time of year when Hallmark Holiday movies are filmed (fun fact). Something that has become synonymous with the holiday seasons over the years has been Hallmark Christmas movies! While there have been plenty of those already either filmed in, or taking place in Massachusetts, there has never been one in the Berkshires!

With so much history throughout the entire state of Massachusetts, it's always interesting to learn about each town and cities history. While it is pretty well known that the oldest city in the state is Plymouth, over on the western side, perhaps it is not nearly as well known what the oldest towns in the Berkshires are.
