The Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Berkshire County (RSVP) is looking for volunteer drivers for a new collaborative initiative, the Wheels for Wellness Program. Wheels for Wellness is a free ride service for Berkshire County residents of all ages who need transportation to vaccine sites and medical appointments.

Moments House, a nonprofit that has supported people so many people here in the Berkshires with cancer through free programs and services like Holistic Healing services, also had the only wig bank in Berkshire County and it is was free to anyone in need.

The Department of Community Development is sponsoring a public hearing and input session at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, as part of the preparation of its 2022 Annual Action Plan.

Berkshire United Way announces the availability of funding for a one-year period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.

In the Berkshires, the majority of vaccinations are expected to take place at major clinics run by local public health officials, Berkshire Health Systems and Community Health Programs. Some people also have been able to receive vaccines at local pharmacies.

The Select Board is moving forward to find a permanent police chief.
