After being found guilty on all counts last Friday in Berkshire Superior Court, a Pittsfield man received his sentencing yesterday.

A hale and hearty "Great Job!" to the Pittsfield Police Department for removing more illegal narcotics from the streets. Oh, and some firearms, too.

The Berkshire DA's Office reports that three people were arrested this past Friday as part of a county-wide drug distribution operation.

Two people were arrested Thursday morning after South County police found a whole mess of narcotics in their vehicle.

According to a media statement from the Pittsfield Police Department, a shooting took place this past Friday night at a Tyler Street establishment.

On Tuesday, January 17th, a Massachusetts man pleaded guilty in a Boston federal court to charges of conspiring to distribute cocaine.

Berkshire District Attorney Timothy Shugrue remarked, “I’ve never in 36 years seen this amount of meth, not only in Berkshire County but in Western MA."
