Prices are going up and have not stabilized as this is interfering with monthly budgets

Affordable housing in the U.S. has been an issue for several years. Recently, some states, like Massachusetts for example, have had it worse than others. Some might say it has been an issue since the housing crisis of 2008. Or perhaps later, how there's a chance that the impact of COVID has affected someone's housing status. Unfortunately, Massachusetts has now become the 3rd most expensive state to rent a home in.

How ironic: They are ALL located in Western Massachusetts

The cost of living has truly NOT matched up with current wages as plans are under way to remedy this problem in Boston

With an issue in the Berkshires of having rentals that are sky high, even for someone who works a full-time job, I really don't see the homeless situation getting any better unless something changes.

Houses and apartments are just out of reach for the average state wide worker. One question: WHY??
