A rare event occurred over western Massachusetts last night (Thursday, March 23rd). The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis appeared in the skies over the Bay State. Reportedly, the lights were seen as far away as Washington, D.C. But Massachusetts definitely got a majestic glimpse of the unique event.

There have been some interesting events happening in the skies lately. Between spy balloons or even some other 'UFOs' that have been making the rounds in the news, there is also something being spotted over Massachusetts. So, what exactly is it that we are seeing in the sky over the Bay State?

A Massachusetts high school is making national news due to the fact that its lights stay on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because no one knows how to turn off the lights.

It will be here before you know it, Christmas In The Berkshires. Every year there is a search for a beautiful Christmas tree to adorn Park Square in Pittsfield and also it could be two Christmas trees in the downtown area of North Adams.

The people who come to the Berkshires and also, we who live here, have spoken and Tripadvisor has given their seal of approval and awarded six destinations here in the Berkshires making them the must-see places for 2022.

We should all be thankful it isn’t Pittsfield, Great Barrington, or North Adams that hosts this ridiculous event each year.
