Due to the paratransit strike. bus services here in the Berkshires is limited

After seeing posts on Facebook and phone calls to WUPE it seems that Berkshire Regional Transit Authority riders are being left at BRTA bus stops as the paratransit drivers strike enters its second day today.

After rejecting the latest contract offer on Sunday, some bus operators walked off the job yesterday.

BRTA is operating limited regular bus routes, limited fixed bus routes resulted in Stockbridge, Great Barrington, Sheffield and Williamstown being without BRTA service. Some sections of Pittsfield and North Adams were also shorted on public transportation.
