The people who come to the Berkshires and also, we who live here, have spoken and Tripadvisor has given their seal of approval and awarded six destinations here in the Berkshires making them the must-see places for 2022.

Tripadvisor looks at what travelers write about the different locations they have visited. The top ones get the travelers' choice award. Tripadvisor gives a Travelers’ Choice award to accommodations, attractions and restaurants that consistently earn great reviews from travelers and are ranked within the top 10% of properties on Tripadvisor.

Here in the Berkshires for 2022 the best places to check out, if you haven't already, are all different.

In random order we have starting we have the top six who were given the honors of best in the travelers choice awards and they are:

Hancock Shaker Village.

Everyone loves the baby animals, live music through the summer, and the tours they do. Their country fair is coming up this month on September 24th & 25th.. We were there last year it was so much fun!

The Norman Rockwell Museum.

I love the covers of the old"Saturday Evening Post" check this out, this museum has the world's largest and most significant collection of Rockwell drawings and paintings.

Mass Moca.

A revamped 9th-century factory campus, MASS MoCA has the distinction of being the largest center for contemporary visual and performing arts in the country. Open year-round with a full schedule of live events, and changing exhibitions.

The Clark Institute.

This first started out in 1950 as the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute it was a permanent home for the private art collection of Sterling and Francine Clark. It is now a beautiful museum inside and out. You will see many great painters on the walls and other forms of exhibitions at the museum.

Naumkeg.

You will see Gilded-Age style and splendor at this marvelous estate, renowned for its elegant gardens and rare Berkshire Cottage. During the holidays they put on light shows for all ages to enjoy. they will be bringing back the lighted Halloween pumpkins to start of their fall season.
