The Massachusetts RMV just announced they will be extending the practice of using state-owned vehicles until at least the end of April for Class D road tests.
This past Wednesday, May 19, at 3:05, Bennington Police, Bennington Fire and Bennington Rescue were dispatched to a report of a structure fire located at 254 Benmont Avenue Bennington, Vermont.
A Major house fire tore through a house on Barker Road early Saturday morning. Fire Station Engines 1, 5, 6, Truck 2 and Car 2 responded for a reported building fire at 110 Barker Rd in Pittsfield, reported by the alarm company and a 2nd cell call from a passerby confirming active fire.
Pittsfield has announced the street paving project targets for this spring and summer. Over 9-miles of city streets will be resurfaced. It is estimated that the total number surfaces in feet adds up to 49,278 which amounts to 9.33 miles.
The work is expected to start mid-spring with and be completed by the end of October...
The weather is warm and that means road work will be occurring all over the Berkshires, I am looking forward to getting these potholes, you know the ones that are like huge craters, taken care of. They can do a lot of damage to your vehicle.
