The Mass State lottery reminds players that they should check old tickets.  Millions of dollars are left in unclaimed prizes.  According to the commission some of those unclaimed prizes date back to 2016.  Last Friday a winning Massachusetts 20x Cashword ticket worth $500,000 to the ticket holder from 2018 was set to expire.  Can you imagine after the fact discovering you missed out on a half-million bucks because you didn’t check your ticket?

Both Powerball and Mega Millions costs $2 per play.  Powerball you choose 5 numbers between 1 and 69 and then choose 1 number as your Powerball with a number range between 1 and 26.  Mega Millions you choose 5 numbers between 1 and 70 and 1 number between 1 and 25 known as the gold Mega Ball.
