A Sad And Tragic Ending In Finding Missing Person YouTuber Gabby Petito
Authorities are continuing to look for a Florida man following the apparent discovery of his girlfriend's body in Wyoming after she went missing on a cross-country trip.
FBI officials said in a news conference. Human remains discovered in Teton County, Wyoming, Sunday are "consistent with the description of" missing 22-year-old Gabby Petito. The body was found on the outskirts of Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming—eight days after she was reported missing, the cause of death has not yet been determined, with an autopsy set for Tuesday. The undeveloped camping area will remain closed until further notice while the investigation continues.

Petito and her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, left in July on a cross-country trek in a converted van to visit national parks in the U.S. West. Police said Laundrie was alone when he drove the van back to Florida, on Sept. 1.
He's been named a person of interest in the case. The search for him concentrated over the weekend on a vast wildlife area near Florida's Gulf Coast. He has not spoken to FBI officials and lawyered up before he came up missing.

Another piece of information that has come out is the detail a video,
“The clip is of Brian reading a book, and it is apparently called Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer, about groups of people exploring uncharted terrain that go missing, was commented upon by, among others, YouTube users and TikTok user @alyssaest93. So many people have said that that information needs to be handed over to the police," she said in a video she posted to the platform a few days ago, explaining why she believes the book is related to the case. She called the footage "disturbing."
********* UPDATE*****The Police and FBI raided Brian Laundrie's parents' home in Florida this morning. This came the morning after calling off their search at a nature reserve for Brian Laundrie.
