Beautiful weather, combined with the awesome musical talents of the band once again voted Best in the Berkshires, Whiskey City, made for a wonderful evening at Noel Field, North Adams for Party in the Park. Whiskey City(who began the evening as Whiskey Sour while they awaited the arrival of their guitarist who I believe was coming from another gig), really got the crowd into it for both halves of their set. And this time--no Whiskey City "curse". The band has run into bad luck concerning rainy weather recently, but last evening Mother Nature smiled down on us in all her sunny glory.

The band ran through some tried and true crowd favorites, everything from original songs to country covers, Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams. With only two shows left in our ninth annual Party in the Park free summer concert series, Whiskey City's performance only reminded us once again how quickly summer passes by.

Next Thursday, our second to last show for the summer, Blind Smudge will be the featured act. Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday for another great summer concert in the park.
