It is still going on even though it's pick up,  the Berkshire South Regional Community Center will host its 14th Annual Community Thanks Supper on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021 as a “take out” meal to be picked up at the Center, 15 Crissey Road in Great Barrington.

The meal will be a collaborative traditional Thanksgiving feast prepared by local chefs and volunteers. Each year they feed approximately 500 community members and this year will be no different!

Because of COVID limitations, this year’s meal will be offered as a “to go” dinner that can be picked up at three different assigned times; 1:00pm, 2:00pm or 5:30pm. Delivery will be available for those without transportation between 1pm and 3pm.

This year’s sponsors are the Berkshire Food Co-op and Guido’s Fresh Marketplace. The traditional Thanksgiving meal will be prepared collaboratively by six local chefs, each volunteering to make a dish, Jim Gop of Heirloom Fire, cookbook author Janet Elsbach, Jeremy Smith from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, food educator Jenny Schwartz, and chefs Hank Ferlauto and Scott Hansen. The meal is free and open to the public.

Berkshire South anticipates providing more than 500 meals to the community this year.
