Cancellations, Delays And Closings March 8th *Updated

Effective immediately, the snow emergency and on-street parking ban for the City of Pittsfield has been lifted.

Town of Adams Snow Emergency Continues till 3PM Thursday

Snow emergency for the City of North Adams from 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018, until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018. Residents may not park vehicles on city streets and are encouraged to limit their travel during this time to allow for the clearing of streets throughout this extended storm.
Clarksburg, Lenox have declared snow emergencies: no parking on streets during the storm to allow for snow removal vehicles.

While trash pickup was scheduled to resume today, the severity of the weather has again halted pickup.

Pending weather conditions, service is slated to resume Friday.

State Office Closures
On Thursday 3/8, non-emergency Executive Branch employees should not report to the workplace.

Due to the current weather emergency, the Governor has directed that non-emergency state employees working in Executive

Branch agencies should not report to their workplaces on Thursday, March 8, 2018.
