Freak Storm Cancels Tonight’s Party in the Park in North Adams

Unfortunately, the weather has caused the postponement of Party in the Park tonight. This is the 3^nd time this long-running concert series has had to be postponed because of the weather this summer. The very first week the plug had to be pulled as well as week 3 and now week 6. This storm came out of nowhere and when we are dealing with thunder and lighting, for the safety of our listeners, the band and crew we will pull the plug every time.

We would like to thank the band Shyne who were scheduled to perform tonight. Next Thursday we will try it again with Generation X Rock performing at Noel Field in North Adams under sunny skies (wishful thinking) beginning at 6 pm until dusk rolls in at 8 o’clock. We hope to see you, your family and friends there next Thursday. If you have a classic car, make sure you bring that along as well.

Party in the Park is every Thursday night this summer at Noel Field in North Adams between 6pm and 8pm.
