How Will The City Of Pittsfield Use Its CPA Funding? Find Out Tonight
If you are interested in finding out what the City of Pittsfield will be doing with its Community Preservation Act funding, you will want to attend tonight's public hearing. The meeting is being held remotely, via the zoom meeting platform, but you can also watch it on PCTV.
The focus of tonight's Community Preservation Committee public hearing, according to a press release from the office of Pittsfield Mayor Linda Tyer, will be the use of the CPA money and the city’s priorities in relation to the Community Preservation Plan.
The public hearing gets underway at 6:00 PM tonight. City Planner CJ Hoss tells the Berkshire News Network that the meeting can be accessed via Zoom, using this link:

The committee has also announced that the project eligibility application process for a new year of CPA funds is open through Nov. 5th. The committee will be providing an overview of previous allocations of CPA funds and welcomes public participation to understand community priorities as it begins a new year of soliciting potential projects for funding.
