J&J Vaccination Appointments Available Thursday in Pittsfield
If you are looking for the J&J vaccine Flynn’s Pharmacy is holding a One Day Vaccination Clinic this Thursday, April 29th. If you are in need of a vaccine, you can book an appointment for Thursday through Flynn’s website while slots are available. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is one and done vaccine, so there is no need to schedule an additional appointment for a 2nd shot.
According to Rick Czarnecki, Flynn’s Operation Manager, the pharmacy will have 50 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine available for the one-day clinic on Thursday. Appointments at Flynn’s can only be scheduled through their website. No call-in appointments will be accepted. Online appointments will be booked on a first-come, first-serve basis.
According to Czarnecki, Flynn’s Pharmacy hopes to be able to offer additional vaccination clinics in the future. Flynn’s is located at 173 Elm Street in Pittsfield. The link to book an appointment for the one-day clinic is www.flynnspharmacy.com.
On April 19th Massachusetts moved into Phase 3 of the state’s vaccination roll-out that made vaccines available to any Mass resident over 16 years of age. Those 16 and 17 years of age will only be able to register for the Pfizer vaccine through the State’s online registration system PrepMod. Those 18 and older can register and receive any of the approved vaccines.
Currently 53% of the state has received at least one does of a vaccine, totalling 3,696,940 Mass residents. According to usafacts.org, 30% of the population in the state are fully vaccinated. Overall that is about 2,134,816.
