Pittsfield Police are investigating last night's robbery of the Mobil Mart at 580 North Street in Pittsfield.  According to an article in The Berkshire Eagle,  a man with a knife entered the store around 8:30.  He demanded money from the Mobile Mart clerk, reached around the counter and grabbed an undermined amount of cash.  He then fled on foot according to the article.

The perp was described as a white male. approximately 5-10 and was wearing a black coat with a hood and black sneakers that had white soles.  He is believed to be around 30-years old.  The suspect was last seen running.  A Police K-9 unit searched the area but he was not located.  Police are reviewing surveillance footage. No One was injured during the robbery.
