Another local business is set to reopen in a matter of days while taking social distancing guidelines and the health to their customers seriously.

This summer Hotel on North is taking their dining outside into, their backlot. The “backlot” has taken on a new identity as a summertime open air, culinary and cocktail experience in the parking lot of Hotel, just off of Summer Street in Pittsfield. It offers guests seating under a tent, lawn games, a full bar and rotating food trucks. Their opening weekend will feature Berkshire’s own, Biggins Diggins. Dates of Operation will be Jun. 18 - Labor Day Weekend 2020.

“We were looking for a creative way to provide a unique outdoor experience for downtown. I believe we found a fun and casual solution without taking ourselves too seriously,” General Manager Daniel Zimmer. Hotel on North is strictly monitoring occupancy, which is why a reservation is required. They are taking every step to ensure guests remain an appropriate distance from other parties and following recommended guidelines provided by the CDC. The safety of their staff and guests is their number one priority.
