Almost everybody has a favorite Girl Scout cookie. What's your tried and true? The Thin Mints straight out of the freezer? The caramel and toasted coconutty Samoas? Maybe one of their peanut butter delights? Personally, I prefer the Do-si-dos but I'll never say no to a Tagalong. Uh-uh. Nope. Never. And that's just the tip of the cookie pyramid. There are so many tasty flavors to choose from. And the Girl Scouts are about to add another.

Prepare your waistline now, well in advance. I'm telling you right now, even though I have no idea what it's going to taste like, their new cookie might just become my new favorite. And that's just based on the description! (Well, the picture also helps)

Joining the Girl Scouts national cookie lineup in January of 2022...Adventurefuls! According to the Girl Scouts website, this is their version of a fudge brownie. A media statement from the Girl Scouts describes the new treat as a brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored crème and a hint of sea salt. Mmmmmm...

The media statement goes on to say:

Available nationwide, every bite of Adventurefuls is full of indulgent brownie-inspired flavor with a combination of chocolatey and caramel flavors, and smooth and crispy textures, for an incredible taste of adventure in every bite.

Is it just me, or does that sound like a salted caramel brownie but in cookie form? Man, January can't come soon enough! Every box of cookies sold fuels local Girl Scouts’ adventures throughout the year.
