This spring will probably not be the only high school sports season to be affected by COVID-19, according to an article on iBerkshires.com. The National Federation of High School Associations, based in Indianapolis, issued a multi-page report yesterday.

The report was written by the NFHSA's Sports Medicine Advisory Committee to advise the member state associations on what they think regarding a phased return to school athletics in consultation with state health departments.

One of the many items covered by the report is the recommendation that each state association consider different timetables for the return of sports with a relatively low-risk factor such as golf, and sports that have a relatively high risk of virus transmission, like wrestling.

The report is quite extensive and includes suggestions on a 3-phase return to normal sports activity, which of course, will vary from state to state. Get more details here. Thanks to iBerkshires.com for the details.
