Pittsfield announces “Free Parking Fridays” and other free parking days in the city

Pittsfield City Hall has announced “Free Parking Fridays” along with other holiday free parking days in the city to help boost local shop traffic downtown.

Today and December 18 will fall under “Free Parking Friday” with the week of December 21^st through Friday Christmas Day also free parking days. You will also be able to park for free on New Year’s Day in the city.

Free parking this season will include “Free Parking Fridays” on Dec. 11 and Dec. 18. There will also be a week of free parking starting Monday, Dec. 21 through Friday, Dec. 25. There will also be free parking on Friday, Jan. 1.

As always, parking in the city is free in the evenings and weekends.
