We could all use a good dose of holiday cheer right now and in the case of children, probably even more so. That's why we couldn't wait to share this bit of news. The city of Pittsfield is gearing up for an annual holiday tradition: The North Pole Calling Program!

Here's more info courtesy of the City of Pittsfield Press Release:

The Pittsfield Department of Community Development Recreation Program will be conducting the annual North Pole Calling Program 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, and Thursday, Dec. 17.

Sign-up forms will be emailed from the Pittsfield Public School Department.

Electronic forms which can be saved and emailed are available through a link on the home page of the city’s website, www.cityofpittsfield.org.

Hard copy forms are also available at City Hall, 70 Allen St.; please call 499-9368 to schedule a pick-up time.

Completed forms must be returned or submitted online by Monday, Dec.14.

This program is for City of Pittsfield children in kindergarten through second grade. If older Pittsfield children still believe, please feel free to submit a form on their behalf.

In 2019, Santa called more than 140 children in the city.

Awesome news! Thanks, guys!
