Pittsfield Issues "No Cut" Roadway Advisory

The City of Pittsfield has issued a press release regarding a “no-cut” period on all city roadways beginning Nov. 23.

Basically, this means that starting November 23, the City of Pittsfield’s Department of Public Services and Utilities is establishing a “no-cut” period on all city roadways. The period runs through March 12, 2021.

During this "no-cut" period, new excavations for non-emergency situations on city roadways will not be allowed. Additionally, no plates shall be placed on roads during the no-cut period.
