The Pittsfield Police are investigating a robbery that took place on Saturday night at the Elm Street Lipton Mart.

According to the Berkshire Eagle, a person entered the store around 10:25 p.m. and held it up with a knife. The suspect escaped with "an undisclosed amount of cash" and left the store on foot.

This is the third time in less than a year that the store has experienced a robbery -- with it happening in July and August of last year.
