A Hazardous Weather Outlook and Wind Chill Advisory continues to be in effect through tomorrow from the National Weather Service. The dangerously cold temperatures continue in Berkshire County tonight and through the weekend. Wind chill values will be well below zero touching -21 degrees Saturday and -4 on Sunday. Exposed skin for over 10-minutes could lead to serious frostbite.

That is not all Mother Nature has in store for us. The forecasters are predicting a major snow event could be in our future Monday night and well into Tuesday. If this storm continues to develop it will also bring with it very strong winds leading to down trees and power outages. Coastal flooding could also be an issue along the state’s coast. WUPE will keep you updated with information as this storm develops.
The complete long-range forecast is below.
