Police And Community Search For Missing Man
The Bennington Police Department is looking for and to check the welfare of Hans Heck who is 35 years old. We believe Heck may have been involved in an incident on VT Rt 279 in Bennington, Vt on Friday at 6:30 pm.
It was posted on Facebook that Heck's truck was found crashed on 279 by the weigh station pull off.
It is possible that Heck left RT 279 on foot and headed south into the wooded area. Search efforts have been conducted of the area and will continue today. Anyone having information, or if you have heard from Heck since Friday night please contact the Bennington Police Department.
Han's sister and the community are setting up a search party today at 1:30 p.m. for the Vermont and Hoosic NY areas. If you would like to assist in the search you can contact his sister Karen Heck by phone or text. 305-890-4835.
