PPD Answers the ‘Lip Sync Challenge’ Call, Challenge North Adams PD (Video)
The Lee Police Department set the table for what looked to be an incredible start to Berkshire County law enforcement to participate in the viral Lip Sync Challenge that had been going on. Following their rendition of "Call Me Maybe", they challenged the Pittsfield Police Department.
The PPD didn't just accept the challenge, they turned it into an incredible variety show.
"Well the wait is over and I can finally get some sleep and move on! After 100's of calls, texts, IG and FB messages and being called out left and right, I gave it my best shot at the #LipSyncChallenge," said Officer Darren Derby.
Derby was joined by Investigator John Bassi for the performances.
Check out the amazing video below, which includes performances of "Let it Go" by Idina Menzel, "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice, "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" by Pat Benatar and a host of others.
The video was produced, according to Derby, by Ryan Cowdrey of Clayson Creative and was assisted by Connor Ryan. The Pittsfield Police have extended the challenge to the North Adams Police Department.
I am loving this!
