As baseball takes a break for the All Star game this week, there is some Red Sox news you might want to know about.

The 2007 World Series Trophy won by your Boston Red Sox will make a one day stop in North Adams, Tuesday at the One Country One Games, A Celebration of Baseball exhibition at 66 Main Street.

According to iBerkshires.com, the trophy will be on display from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  There’s no charge to the event thanks to the Berkshire Bank along with The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and numerous other donors. Donations to the exhibition will be welcome.

The Red Sox swept the Colorado Rockies (winning all four games).  It was the Red Sox second World Series win in four years.

iBerkshires goes on to mention the exhibition also includes memorabilia from Baseball in the Berkshires, a seat from Fenway Stadium for visitors to sit in and take photos, and a collection of uniforms on display from the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

The Celebration of Baseball exhibition is a temporary exhibit on display through Labor Day.
