The National Weather Service posted a Hazardous Weather Outlook for western Mass this afternoon through tonight.

The NWS states there is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon into early evening.  Damaging winds would be the main threat with any thunderstorm.  They also mentioned the chance of large hail could not be ruled out.

This Afternoon-Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84.

Tonight-Showers and thunderstorms likely before 11pm, then isolated showers between 11pm and 3 am. Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 65.

Friday-Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 84.
