Single Vehicle Crash On Wednesday Involved Serious Injury

Press Release From the Pittsfield Police Department:

On Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 6:18 PM, Pittsfield Police patrol units responded with Pittsfield Fire Department and County EMS to the area of Berkshire Hills Country Club at 500 Benedict Rd. for a single vehicle crash involving personal injury.

A blue, 2004 Chevy Colorado pickup truck was found to have left the roadway travelling southbound and struck a tree off of the northbound shoulder. The operator, Jeffrey White, 54, of Pittsfield was transported to Berkshire Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

This crash is under investigation by the Pittsfield Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Officer Michael Silver at 413-448-9700 ext. 596.
