Snow Showers and Cold Tonight…Mix of Sun and Showers Over the Weekend in the Berkshires

Maybe a snow shower tonight as temps in the Berkshires will drop to around freezing.  We could also experience wind guests up to 40 mph.  We’ll have some improvement  over the weekend as the sun will return at some point tomorrow with a high in the mid-50s.  Sunday will bring some showers early and will later give way to some sun.  It will warm up into the mid-60s on Sunday.

If you are planning on planting this weekend the Farmer’s Almanac suggests that April is the perfect month to start planting seeds outdoors in New England.  The veggie seeds they suggest it is ok to drop in the ground this month includes; Carrots, Peas, Radishes, Spinach and Turnips.  It’s also a great time to drop your favorites herb seeds in the ground for a bounty of Chives, Dill and Parsley.  Click this link to the Farmer’s Almanac for more information.
