The Red Sox are on a roll and hope to add to their 6-game winning streak this afternoon at 2:10 on New Country 94.7.  The Sox swept the Orioles over the weekend ruining Baltimore’s home series opener at Camden Yards.  The Sox returned the favor as it was the Orioles that swept the Sox in their season opener at Fenway on the first day of April.

The bats have come alive for the Sox with 27 players crossing the plate in the last three games.  Fourteen of those runs where put up on the scoreboard yesterday.  A major part of the offensive production was off the bat of J.D. Martinez who ripped 3 homeruns and 5 RBI’s in the 14 to 9 win against the Orioles.

Thanks to all the wins the Red Sox have been putting up on the board since losing their first 3-games, the Sox are in 1st place in the American League East Division.  There’s a traffic jam for 2nd with the Orioles, Yankees, Rays, and Blue Jays all tied for second with 4-5 records.  The Sox sit at 6-3.
