State Of The City Rescheduled For North Adams

Mayor Tom Bernard has announced that due to the anticipated inclement weather on Tuesday, January 29, he has rescheduled the State of the City address for Thursday, January 31, at 6:30 p.m.

Mayor Bernard said in a press release,

I know we’re tough here in North Adams, and not afraid of a little snow,” Mayor Bernard said. “But while I’m looking forward to delivering my update on the state of our city and sharing my vision for the coming year, I want to put safety first and not bring people out at the height of what promises to be a fast-moving storm.

The mayor will deliver his January 31 address from City Council chambers. It also will be broadcast live on Northern Berkshire Community Television channel 1303.
