
SUNNY BUT COLD THIS WEEKEND IN THE BERKSHIRES
The weather the first weekend of 2021 is looking good! Mostly sunny both Saturday and Sunday with highs in the upper 20s and low 30s. Temperatures at night will be dipping into the teens.
On average January delivers the coldest temperatures of the year. The average temp in In Boston is between 22 to 36 degrees. According to weather-us.com, Lanesboro is one of the coldest Massachusetts locations averaging between 10 to 29 degrees in January.
Although we have not had any significant snowfall this year, January is typically the snowiest month of the year with a average of 15 inches statewide. Currently the long-range forecast for the Berkshires is not calling for any snow in our future...at least this coming week.
