Gov. Baker on Friday announced a slew of summer learning programs aimed at helping students who have been impacted by a year of remote and hybrid learning.

As the district prepares to educate large numbers of students in classrooms for full school days this month, a district leader said hundreds of families are uncomfortable with the shift.

The Pittsfield Public Schools have informed us that all students returning to remote learning will still be offered breakfast and lunch.

Effective Friday, 11/13, all Pittsfield Public Schools will transition to remote learning.

The Pittsfield School Committee eliminated the full in-school opening plan.
