THE WEEKEND FORECAST FOR THE BERKSHIRES

A nice day on Saturday followed by snow showers on Sunday with the chance of some accumulation in the Berkshires possible. No major snow events in the long-range forecast other than some scattered snow showers later in the week. Temps this coming week will average between the upper 20s and low 30s during the day and cold in the teens in the overnight hours.

With Super Bowl Sunday this weekend all eyes will be on Tampa, the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the site of Super Bowl LV. With an outdoor stadium a lot of sports books and gamblers have been checking the forecast to get an inside track on whether the weather will have any affect on the game. Currently the forecast is calling for the possibility of showers and thunder storms between 8am and 2pm. Tampa could get some wind gusts up to 21 mph during the afternoon but the sky should start to clear and the wind diminish by kickoff at 6:30 and should be party cloudy with a low in the upper 50s as the game progresses.
