If you are looking for a way to get some exercise and spend time on the lake this summer Berkshire Community Rowing, has you covered. Berkshire Community Rowing is holding a free “Learn to Row” event on Saturday June 12th from 8am to 10am at Burbank Park on Onota Lake in Pittsfield.

The free event is open to children and adults interested in an opportunity to learn more about this fun and challenging sport. According to the Berkshire Community Rowing website, participants will be introduced to sculling on shore and then try it out in a recreational shell.

Those interested should meet at the BCR Boathouse in the North Cove past the boat launch. You will be directed to the far end of the parking lot and down the path for the free instruction.
