This Past Friday Night Featured Another Pittsfield Shooting
The Pittsfield Police Department has reported yet another shooting in Pittsfield. In a media release, they reported a shooting that took place on Friday, June 4, at approximately 8:20 p.m.
On Friday night, Pittsfield Police responded to 122 Dewey Avenue for a ShotSpotter activation reporting five rounds fired. Arriving units spoke with witnesses who confirmed that an individual had been shot and was transported to Berkshire Medical Center in a vehicle.
Pittsfield Police Detectives and Crime Scene responded to process the scene and to review area video surveillance. A K-9 officer was also dispatched at the scene from the police department.
The victim, a Pittsfield resident, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at Berkshire Medical Center. Police are searching for a thin black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering or insignia on the front, black "jogger" type pants, and white sneakers.
