Three people were hospitalized with stab wounds early yesterday morning after a fight in the area of Cumberland Farms on Commercial Street in Adams.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that according to a statement from Adams Police Chief Richard Tarsa, police responded to a report of a fight just after 1 am and upon their arrival found the first victim suffering from a knife wound. After police and rescuers conducted an immediate search of the area, they found two other victims also suffering from knife wounds.

All three were taken to Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield with injuries that weren’t life-threatening. Tarsa said that all three of the stabbing victims were males and called it an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing.
